I game because it is fun! I like to be the hero and save the day in games. It is a great feeling I get when challenging my hand/eye coordination and succeeding at a game.
Gaming has been a wonderful part of my life. It is stress reducing and relaxing. Gaming gives me a feeling of control when I feel things are a little out of control.
I’ve made a lot of good friends both male and female through gaming. In a lot of cases it was a social lubricant for me to interact with people I otherwise would have been too nervous to talk to. Games are a conversation starter and a great excuse to hang out.
Art in video games also inspired me to be a better artist and provided me with a lot of cool role models growing up too. I could not see my life without it.
