Amelia Earhart inspires me. Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Pacific Ocean. She inspires me to always be courageous and strong. Amelia also worked at some settlement houses built for people who had come from other countries to America after World War I. Amelia loved helping the kids there.
She even set up a club for kids who were from China that inspires me to always be kind. She took flying lessons from a woman named Anita “Neta” Snook. She also worked at a hospital during the war with her sister Muriel that inspires me to always be helping.
She disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 and her fate remains a mystery.
