Carmen Sandiago is a non-fiction Character in one of my favourite series. When she was a baby, the people that were trying to harm her dad ended up raising her to be a thief. However, she escaped the island she was kept on and now uses her thief skills for good.
I like how she does not give up on trying to defeat vile (the bad guys). She always chooses her friends over money. She is cool because she is a bit naughty and she doesn’t always follow the ‘rules’ (or the law) but is still a good person.
Her outfits are awesome, especially her classic red trench coat and hat. I like it how she does not care what other people think, and she does her own thing. If somebody is trying to harm someone she will help them even if it is someone she does not like.
I’m glad to see a woman in charge and that she is defeating the bad people in a cartoon. By being clever, strong, fearless, and kind. Because women and girls are like that in real life too. She makes me feel like I can achieve anything in the real world too. I honestly wish I could be her sometimes but have my parents around.
This was hard to write but I enjoyed doing it.
