Dear Reader,
Again we met here in the virtual world. A space equally unsafe, violent, oppressive and marginalizing as the physical world for girls and women. This month’s issue revolve around a clear theme—policing girls’ bodies. We have girls who are told what to wear, when they can be sexually violated and what extreme consequences will be incurred should they not comply. We hope that these stories will encourage you to pay attention in your daily life to notice how girls are monitored and punished, often for just being girls.
