Dear Reader,
Over the few past weeks, the news worldwide has been hard to take. We have seen the outrageous way in which immigrant children are being treated at the U.S./Mexico border, the enduring violence against women in India, and an underage girl from Sudan facing the death penalty for killing her rapist husband. However, young women are still fighting, and their successes are hard-won. All over the world, STEM girls are coming forward with great ideas to improve female health and fight pollution. In Afghanistan, a young woman has completed her University degree, despite being shot by Taliban fighters. Discover the stories in this issue, and, as always please help us raise awareness by sharing the content! Thank you.
With strength and hope,
