Dear Reader,
Welcome back to the world of girls in the news. The themes for this issue centered around girls’ sexuality—from FGM on babies, rape victims before the age of 10, pregnant tweens, and teens denied reproductive health care. This is a tough read for many, but an even tougher life sentence for survivors of these crimes. The sadness in my heart about these stories was only assuaged by reading about the girls leading protests to demand betters futures for us all. Read with care and consideration, and please share.
