This past month has seen hopes and horrors alike. While a young girl from Sweden raised her voice and thousands alongside her in a campaign to save our planet, other girls around the world are still silenced. They suffer abuse in Afghanistan, India, in the U.S. and Europe. But they also excel in sports and IT, take action to protect their peers from FGM and child marriage.
