Dear Reader,
In this issue, published a week after International Women’s Day on March 8th, we are lucky to see so many positive articles. While there are still far too many articles about girls being raped, trafficked, or killed, there are plenty of bright spots. The number of girls in STEM has increased, and includes an 8-year-old Mexican girl named Xóchitl who designed and built a solar-powered water heater from recycled materials. There’s a period positive movie, a new graphic novel adapation of Anne Frank’s famous diary, and lots of articles on the amazing young activists out there. If only International Women’s Day happened every month.
