Running out of ideas for family lockdown activities? Our friends at Mary Anning Rocks are launching a very special competition that might just fit the bill! Here’s the call from their website:
Here at MAR HQ we are getting our summer range of t-shirt designs ready to launch on our site, and as we have had so many amazing new designs kindly donated by some of our favourite Mary-inspired artists, we thought we would open it up to all of you!!
HOW TO ENTER:
All you have to do is email your finished design or designs to us by 5 o’clock on Mary’s birthday (21st MAY) to be in with a chance of having your design featured on a t-shirt this summer.
Send your entries to hello@maryanningrocks.co.uk at 300dpi and A4 size or larger with ‘Mary’s Art Club’ in the subject heading, oh and don’t forget your social media links so we can tag you in your designs.
All proceeds from the sale of our t-shirts go directly to our statue campaign and we will send you your own design in the size and colour of your choice to wear with pride!
Our patron, Professor Alice Roberts will be judging the entries and will pick one winner and one runner up from each of our age categories. It’s open to all ages so crack open those paints, crayons, pencils, pens, scissors and glue, needles and thread, drawing tablets, or whatever medium you prefer, and show us all that talent!!
Terms and conditions: Please bear in mind that we will need to add our logo and/or hashtag to the finished t-shirt design, and that we will use your artwork within our promotional posts across our social platforms, so by entering the competition you consent to us using your artwork in this way.
