Dear Reader,
The past few weeks have left the girl world reeling. From being the target of terrorist attacks in Manchester, to a death sentence for being raped, to being sold into sex slavery, to suffering the famines of global warming, girls can’t seem to catch a break. When reading through the girl news events, sometimes I wish we could just pause and take a time out, so we can catch our collective breath, so we can re-group and not live in fear for just a few minutes.
But time outs are only for games; this is real life. And there is no rest.
